Sylvia faces several difficulties. First, she is a horse-nut without a
horse. She campaigns for one of her own, but her mother is a
psychoanalyst and has embarrassingly sexual interpretations of
Sylvia’s endeavors. Her dad is having an affair with his BlackBerry.
Grandpa will buy her a horse when she’s tall enough, but she’s not
growing. She’s fourteen but stuck in the body of an eight-year old.
Fortunately for Sylvia, there is comfort for her in lucid dreaming,
where she encounters a helpful equestrian … and an not-so-helpful
uninvited grumpy unicorn.
